Partnering with The Art Lab to sell your artwork is a great idea and here is why:
-We do not take commissions from your asking price. We add %30 to your asking price to cover our fees. Example: You charge $100 for your art piece, we list it for $130. You get your $100 and sales tax.
-You will have your own Artist page. While we will publish your page on our sites, it will be up to you to create a BIO and descriptions of your items. We are here to help if you need to price your work as well. Link your social media accounts.
-You are responsible for providing pictures of you art work but we can help. We have the cameras and lighting set ups to take product shots of your work if needed. There is no charge for this service.
-We advertise. We will be promoting our artwork pages through our social media accounts and website. There will be opportunities for you to boost your personal work for a fee. We have 6,000 Likes on FB, 10,000 Customer emails for monthly email blasts and frequently engage with customers all over the New England area.
-While we do have a contract for clarity, there is no minimum or maximum amount of time you need to stay with us. Come and go as you please.
-We handle all the accounting of sales and taxes. When a customer purchases your work, the sale with go through our Square account. The sales tax will be included along with any delivery charges. These monies will be sent to you via check or Venmo. You will be responsible for your own taxes and will be sent a W9 at the end of the year.
-When a sale is made, you will receive a copy of the transaction receipt along with the shipping information. As, the art work is not stored at our business, you will be responsible for shipping your items. Shipping is calculated through Square by size, weight, and distance.
-We are a small family owned business in Auburn MA. You won't be dealing with 1-800 numbers and waiting for tech support.
